This version was then modified by Ravel and Stravinsky for a production given at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, Paris, in 1913. Later, Shostakovich created his own orchestration, which appeared first in a film version in 1959 and was staged at the Kirov Theatre, Leningrad, in 1960.
