| Description: |
Brown silk velvet tunic. The neckline, centre front edge and armhole openings are decorated with a copper-coloured lurex trim. The back of the tunic is plain and the front is decorated with heraldic emblems in gold lurex, gold brocade and gold lace. The dagged epaulettes are trimmed with gold braid lace and pink and blue sequins. The bottom edge is dagged and decorated with gold braid lace and pink and blue sequins. The full-length sleeves are decorated at the cuffs with a copper-coloured lurex trim. The tunic is lined with chestnut brown lining fabric, and fastens at the centre front with hooks and eyes and had a gold lamé placket. The dagged hem and epaulettes are lined with brown moleskin. The sleeves are lined with coffee-coloured grosgrain. |
