Description: Gilded bronze oval medal surmounted by a crown. The central gold plaque, depicting a mounted knight in armour, is enclosed in a blue enamel band bearing in gold the motto of the Order, 'In Action Faithful and in Honour Clear'. The reverse of the Badge is plain except for the crowned cipher of the monarch ('EIIR') in relief. The Badge is suspended via a plain ring from a red ribbon edged with gold thread fashioned into a bow, as it is a lady's award. The ribbon has a brooch attachment on the reverse. The Badge is worn at the left shoulder. Given in presentation case ROH/VAL/BEQ/48, and related to certificate ROH/VAL/BEQ/46 and file of papers ROH/VAL/BEQ/49.
