Description: Erasmus Prize certificate housed in a dark red leatherette folder with the lettering 'EP' embossed in gold on the front cover. The certificate reads (in Latin): 'Amstelodami, die xxi mensis iunii anni mcmlxxiv DECRETUM Altissimus Princeps Regius Neerlandiae ex articulo ii legis Fundationis cui nomen PRAEMIUM ERASMIANUM, quo statuitur in singulos annos praemium praemiave decerni iis sive hominibus sive institutionibus qui humano cultui, societati, scientiis inserviant, itaque Europae unitatem vel unificationem strenue adauxerint aut in operibus suis demonstraverint, convenienter iis quae de mercedis usu in dispositionibus de praemiis adiudicandis praescribuntar, auditis etiam Viris consiliariis, confirmavit Moderatorum sententiam qua placuit ut PRAEMIUM ERASMIANUM ANNI MCMLXXIV decerneretur feminae clarissimae NINETTE DE VALOIS idque de causis quae separatim expositae sunt. QUIBUS DE CAUSIS PRAEMIUM ERASMIANUM ADIUDICETUR Feminae clarissimae NINETTE DE VALOIS praemium decernitur quia uno et perpetuo animi sui tenore id quod sibi aetate iam prisca proposuerat consecuta est, ut in Britannia societatem morem classicum secutorum conderet quae multis exemplo esset; quia rectam et veram viam secuta scholis saltatoriis quae per omnes nationes cognoscerentur conditis fundamenta, quibus haec res bene eveniret, iacuit; quia opera indefessa fiduciaque quam facultatum sociorum operis semper habebat effecit ut ei existerent et duces et magistri saltatorum qui toto orbe terrarum copiam sui facerent; quia non solum in omni genere plurimum ob omnibus postularet sed etiam ardore humanitatis suae exemploque excelso saltationis, choreographiae, institutionis et discipulos et saltatores et choreographos instigavit ut artem corde diligerent eiusque summum fastigium adipiscerentur'.
