Tunic worn by Wayne Eagling as Prince Siegfried in Act I of The Royal Ballet production of 'Swan Lake' (1971)

Description: Short green brocade tunic cut longer at the right hip. The front panel is overlaid with net decorated with gilt ribbon and amber and pearl beads. The back is similarly decorated but not as heavily. There is an integral belt of leatherette squares and large faux amber stones, beneath which the tunic hem is decorated with a fringe of brocade oak-leaf shapes. The sleeves are slashed along the outside edge to reveal bronze linen and are laced all the way down. The sleeve heads are trimmed in brown fur.
